Springer have just published a new volume edited by Amanda Evans, Joseph Flatman and Nicholas Flemming, with 16 chapters bringing together case studies from across the world, including an introduction by the editors, and a concluding overview by Geoff Bailey.

The European Marine Board has established a new Working Group called SUBLAND to advise on European research policy on continental shelf prehistoric research. The kick-off meeting was held in Szczecin, Poland, on 26th September.

The final SPLASHCOS conference will take place at the University of Szczecin, Poland, 23-27 September 2013. The first announcement and call for abstracts is now open. This will be an open conference, and everyone with an interest in this field is invited to apply.
