Submerged Paleolandscape Archaeology of North America Workshop, June 2019

SPLASHCOS members were invited to a discussion workshop at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC on June 11–12, with USA archaeologists engaged in underwater research, representatives of Native tribal organisations, and Federal agencies.

The meeting was convened by Loren Davis (Oregon State University) and James Dixon (University of New Mexico) and Geoff Bailey, Vince Gaffney and Martin Segschneider were invited to the meeting to share their experiences of European research and the SPLASHCOS networking initiative.
