Lunchtime Briefing in the European Parliament

Polish MEP Bogusław Liberadzki hosted a lunchtime briefing at the European Parliament on the ‘Science of Europe’s Underwater Cultural Heritage’ to promote the work of the SPLASHCOS Action and its forthcoming final conference at Szczecin in September. The SPLASHCOS Chair, Geoff Bailey, the Vice Chair, Dimitris Sakellariou, and Working Group 2 Chair, Jan Harff, took part in the meeting, and Geoff Bailey and SPLASHCOS early stage researchers Helen Farr, Aaron Micallef, and Nicolas Nowald gave presentations on different aspects of underwater research. The meeting was organized by the German Marine Research Consortium and Dr Jan-Stefan Fritz.
